Deaf Sports Personality of the Year 2012
CLiKAPAD were proud sponsors of the "Fan of the Year" award at this year's Deaf Sports Personality of the Year, held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Our audience response solution, ppvote, was utilised throughout the evening. At the the culmination of the event the audience used their CLiKAPAD keypads to select the DSPY 2012 main award winner, the results instantly reported by the ppvote system to the MC. The main award of the night was won by Umesh Valjee, the England Cricket captain. Fittingly, the award was presented by retired English cricket legend Mike Gatting. |

CLiKAPAD showcases at The AXICA, Berlin
The AXICA, one of Europe’s most unique and exclusive event venues, having recently completed a multi-million pound refurbishment of its stunning Plenum meeting space, invited CLiKAPAD to showcase our range of audience response and voting systems during a breakfast re-launch event to over fifty of Berlin’s top event professionals.
The light-hearted presentation took the form of a quiz in which the guests were invited to test their knowledge of The AXICA and its high-tech Plenum meeting space. One of the questions was about The AXICA’s world-famous architect Frank O. Gehry – also known as the creator of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. Frank Gehry describes The AXICA as “…the best work I’ve ever done…”
The very high-tech interior of the Plenum meeting space boasts two of the largest LCD screens in the world – at 108” (2.7m) across.
The interactivity was very much enjoyed by all participants who left with new ideas on how to use CLiKAPAD to improve audience enjoyment and participation at some of their own up-coming events.
